The past few months have been a challenging and interesting time to say the very least. We are all learning how to deal with the implications of the pandemic and the best manner to manage business through the crisis.
In an effort to help our clients navigate through unchartered waters during this pandemic, our staff has attended daily employment law webinars, webinars with our software providers, had calls with lenders and CPAs, handled all unemployment claims and furlough updates, provided mandatory postings to keep our clients in compliance with state and federal laws and created many new HR forms and templates. In addition, our staff has been available to speak to clients and potential clients to answer questions related to this virus. We have also been able to provide our clients with weekly state and federal updates related to business re-openings and laws.
In addition to what I mentioned above, here are some of the items and services we have been able to provide our clients and potential clients and has kept us busy the last few months:

• CDC and WHO protocols and postings
• Safety protocols including workplace safety measures and post-Covid-19 Protocols (for future use and for businesses that are able to re-open at this time)
• Infectious Disease sample and custom policies
• Mandatory state and federal workplace poster information
• Health screening procedures and tips
• Authorizations to travel both locally and between states when needed/Essential Service Notifications
• Information to help reduce stress of staff and business owners/mental health
• Forms to address EFMLA and CARES Act
• Sample and custom policies for employees who are teleworking or working altered schedules
• Up to date information related to the CARES Act, FFCRA and the Paycheck Protection Program and how acts interplay with one another
• Reports and letters for lenders to assist with loan applications and loan forgiveness applications
• Assistance with terminations when needed
• Furlough and temporary layoff templates
• Notice of workplace exposure to Coronavirus
• Recall from Furlough letters and offers
• Human resources assistance as needed
• Continued safety and risk support for workers’ compensation certificates and management of workplace injuries and occupational illnesses
• Manual batches for changes with payroll related to the COVID-19 and filing of taxes so clients receive the maximum COVID-19 tax credits

We have received so many kind and appreciative calls and e-mails from our clients and appreciate the time they are taking to reach out to us. We recently received this e-mail from a client who came onboard with us from a major competitor last year:

Good Morning, Ladies,

I really get irritated by these repeated Emails from my previous PEO.

They promise the following:

ACCESSIBILITY
QUICK RESPONSE TIME
PERSONALIZED CARE
ATTENTION TO DETAIL
PROACTIVE ASSISTANCE TO YOUR CLIENTS

All things that I have seen with ERA and not with (previous PEO).

I just wanted to capture my thoughts while fresh.

Thank you,
Client/Business Owner
